Does reaching 1,000 followers let you go LIVE on TikTok? TikTok's help documentation has listed 1,000 followers with a regional variation caveat. It also requires creators to be at least 18. A follower milestone alone should not be treated as automatic access.

Check the creation screen
- Open TikTok and tap the button for creating a post.
- Look for LIVE among the available options.
- If LIVE appears, review the title, moderation and audience settings before starting.
- If it does not appear, read any account eligibility message and use TikTok support.
Age verification is separate
TikTok may ask for age confirmation. Use the official process shown inside the app. Do not send identity documents to a follower seller or an unrelated website to unlock LIVE. See TikTok's age requirements.
Do not confuse a displayed count with approval
A paid follower package cannot establish your age, resolve an account restriction or guarantee a feature. If a purchase changes the counter but LIVE remains unavailable, the access decision belongs to TikTok. Our guide to follower purchases and LIVE explains the distinction.
Prepare your first broadcast
Write a short topic outline, check your audio and decide how you will handle questions. Tell existing viewers when you plan to start, and evaluate the session using actual attendance and conversation. An audience that participates matters more to the broadcast than a follower milestone by itself.
